Naming the blog

My partner Cathy Monetti often jokes that I am a target audience of one, that no one sees the world as I do. She’s right, but not just about me. The tribes we belong to, or aspire to belong to, have been steadily melting away over the past few decades, and at an ever faster rate.

Marketers have gone from mass, to niche to individual. Mass media sure was fun, and there will always be a place on You Tube for the cheesy commercials I grew up with. Individuals, however, can be far more interesting.

So here goes. A little about me and what I’m up to from time to time, along with my take on the world around us.
